Istanbul Bilgi University Human Rights Law Research Center is organizing its second "Summer School Program on Human Rights Law" for law students. The summer school will be held at santralistanbul Campus of Istanbul Bilgi University between 18-22 July 2016. 

Sessions on the summer school include:

• Introduction to human rights law and protection mechanisms
• Fundamental rights and freedoms in the constitution and restriction regime
• Law in Turkey in the political context 
• Principle of equality and prohibition of discrimination
• Women’s rights 
• Refugee rights
• Freedom of expression
• Internet freedom
• Freedom of peaceful assembly, demonstration and association
• Social rights as human rights
• Children’s rights
• Confrontation with the past and human rights
