Faculty Member, PhD Cansu Muratoğlu
Cansu Muratoğlu graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University School of Law in 2011. She started to work as a research assistant in Istanbul Bilgi University Department of General Public Law in 2012. She obtained her LL.M. degree from Istanbul Bilgi University, Human Rights Law Master Program in 2013, with the thesis titled “The Concept of Coming to Terms with Past within the Framework of Law”. She completed Phd in Public Law at the same university in 2019 and started to work as Faculty Member, PhD at Istanbul Bilgi University. She prepared Francisco de Vitoria's book "Lessons" for publication. She has two publications: "Coming to Terms with Past, Possibilities and Impossibilities" and "At the End of Modernity, Again with Vitoria", which she wrote together with Cemal Bali Akal.
Research interests: theory of state and rights, political philosophy, coming to terms with past/transitional justice, international criminal law.
