In this study, empirical findings, observations, and critiques from research on Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) reporting have been compiled based on the alignment, scope, and structural issues of GRI indicators with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); finally, several examples are examined to illustrate the reporting practices that have been the subject of these critiques.
