Since 1970, International Institute of Human Rights organizes annual teaching sessions for a period of three weeks. These sessions take place in Strasbourg in July and are composed of courses and conferences given by internationally recognized specialists. These sessions enable the participants to have an improved general knowledge in international and comparative human rights while acquiring a better understanding of issues specific to the subject addressed by the annual session. These annual teaching sessions are also a meeting point for all the defenders of human rights coming from many different countries and geographical zones. This year’s topic of the study session is “Health and International Human Rights Law“. The study session will be held in English and French.
The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Liberty in Turkey offers the opportunity for some candidates to participate. Interested candidates should get in touch with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation Program Officer Gülçin Sınav (guelcin.sinav@fnst.org). The deadline for applications is 31 March 2017.
