A panel and a screening on “Human Rights and Cinema” has been held on 15 December 2005, at İstanbul Bilgi University Dolapdere Campus’ Cinema Hall.

Two short movies shot in 2004 “The Tenth Planet: A Single Life in Baghdad” directed by Melis Birder and “Transit” directed by Berke Baş were screened. The screening was followed by the panel on “Human Rights and Cinema” moderated by Prof. Dr. Turgut Tarhanli. and Berke Baş (Director), Melis Birder (Director), Işıl Tokcan Tuç (Lawyer) and Özlem Dalkıran (Amnesty International) attended the panel as speakers.
