Istanbul Bilgi University Human Rights Law Research Center will organize a seminar for women lawyers entitled "Women's Human Rights and CEDAW”. The seminar will be held on 26-27 October 2022 targeting women lawyers registered at the legal aid service of the Çanakkale, Gümüşhane, Kars, Konya, Muğla, Osmaniye, and Zonguldak Bar Associations. Upon the application process, only 30 lawyers will be selected to attend the seminar.

The seminar will be held in Turkish language.

This seminar is organized within the framework of United Nations Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) Literacy for Legal Professionals Project implemented by Istanbul Bilgi University Human Rights Law Research Center. The project is supported financially by İstanbul Consulate of Federal Republic of Germany.
