Human Rights 2002 (Human Rights Week)

A conference was conducted on 12 December 2002. Michael Hartmann (International Public Prosecutor of Kosovo Supreme Court) gave a speech on "UN Peacekeeping Rule of Law, including War Crimes".

A panel on "Transition to Democracy in Yugoslavia and Croatia and Integration to Europe" was conducted on 11 December 2002. Aleksandar Lojpur (The President of the Commission for Truth and Reconciliation, Belgrade), Zivorad Kovacevic (Igman Initiative) and Toni Vukicevic (Lawyer of "Lora Case") were the speakers of the panel.

Coşkun Aral's photographs called "Wars from Coşkun Aral's Camera" were exhibited on 11-15 December 2002.

A Panel on "Legal and Philosophical Approach to the Human Rights" was conducted on 10 December 2002. The speakers at the panel were as follows: Members of the Platform of Philosophy within the High Schools: Kenan Evren Anatolia High School, Beşiktas Atatürk Anatolia High School, Prof. Dr. Zeynep Davran (Boğaziçi University, Department of Philosophy), Prof. Dr. Niyazi Öktem (University of Bilgi, Department of Law).
