The 1st Human Rights Activism Lecture was conducted with the "Stop the Censorship on Art Initiative" on 9 December 2006. Artists, writers, performers, Gülten Kaya, Mahir Günşıray, Erdoğan Aydın, Ergin Cinmen, Cihan Keşkek, Ömer Uğur, Metin Üstündağ, Lale Mansur, Tiyatro Simurg Oyuncuları, Ferhat Tunç, İlkay Akkaya, Gülay Boyalar ve Murat Meriç, gave speeches on censorship. The lecture is organized with the support of Open Society Institute.
