1st Human Rights Activism Lecture was conducted on 12 March 2005. Sylvie Brigot, representative of International Campaign to Ban Landmines, gave a speech on “The Ban on Antipersonnel Landmines: A Vision Which Became Reality”; Muteber Öğreten, representative of the Turkey Without Landmines, gave a speech on “Landmines Threatening Human Rights and Turkey”.
