On 19 December, Istanbul Bilgi University Human Rights Law Research Center hosted a group of students from Koç University Law School as part of the Mentorship Program run by Koç University. The meeting was organized through the initiative taken by Edip Cemre Yalçın who is among participants of the Human Rights Law Summer School of the Center. The meeting was attended by the Director of the Human Rights Law Research Center Prof. Dr. Turgut Tarhanlı, Member of the Faculty of Law Asst. Prof. Dr. Lami Bertan Tokuzlu and Member of the Center and Expert Researcher Gökçeçiçek Ayata accompanied by Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Law undergraduate and graduate students. In the meeting, the members of the Faculty and the Center made an introduction to the brief history of the Center and its areas of research and activities. Tokuzlu made a speech on the recent developments in the public law of Turkey. The undergraduate and graduate students of the Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Law shared their experience in the university and the contribution the activities of the Human Rights Law Research Center has made to their academic life. In the meeting, the members of the Faculty of Law and the Center responded to the participants’ questions on current issues in human rights and the Center in general.
